Birdhead

Founded in 2004 (Song Tao was born in 1979 and Jiweiyu was born in 1980). They both work and live in Shanghai.

BIRDHEAD is the duo (Song Tao&JiWeiyu) focused on photography, whose oeuvre consists of photographic images of daily life, personal hobbies and traveling. After developing, arranging and mounting, the snap-shot aesthetic of their extensive and accumulative photos constitute BIRDHEAD WORLD-series (approximately 10000 pictures a year). BIRDHEAD WORLD exists as exhibitions and also catalogues.
